With a background from the military, emergency services, and the private security sector, I saw areas in our society where people were vulnerable to high-risk issues that I knew with the proper training and steps these issues could be mitigated and avoided.  I began to do cyber-security assessments for individuals and businesses, as well as teaching principles of physical security to help empower and equip people.  I also began to teach people basic medical aid, and eventually trauma-care.  Some of these clients needed a pro-active approach so  I began consulting and providing close-protection support.  Between my professional background, and the diverse environments I found myself in, I saw the benefits of gathering teams of people with different skillsets and unifying them with a common goal.  With the goal being to provide members of our society with the peace of mind of being safe and secure in their day to day life, the idea for The Sword and Scroll Research Group was born.  I knew that when different subject matter experts bring their skills together we can provide better solutions to our clients.  Since we started, we've combined different skillsets to help individuals, families, businesses, and non-profit organizations.
